- I love to make things: design and photography, arts and crafts of all kinds, cooking, and baking. Oh, baking. For reasons I ponder with the depth of a philosopher, my baker-heart seems to favor cake. I am enthralled with the look, taste, process, history, art, and culture of this deeply meaningful treat.
